Yes, I re...Esther! So glad you are back among us!

Yes, I really enjoyed this show. I love the darker edged shows that are creative and well-danced. Again, critics seemed to have missed Jerry Mitchell's considerable talents, and Jack O'Brien's sleek direction. It is nice to support composers' work while they are still alive, isn't it? There is no comparison, though, between this and HAIRSPRAY. Both are equally amazing for the show they are serving, but beyond that, you might mot even know the same people wrote both.

Be sure to let us know what you thought!

JKJKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04782634274496834578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9056238063013699574.post-20574240472031006972011-04-11T21:56:20.756-04:002011-04-11T21:56:20.756-04:00Seeing this next week, so I just kind of skimmed y...Seeing this next week, so I just kind of skimmed your review for now! But I'm glad you liked it. I'm looking forward to seeing Norbert Leo Butz, Aaron Tveit and Kerry Butler onstage for the first time.

Plus, Hairspray is one of my absolute favorite musicals and even thought this is different, I really want to support the work of Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.Estherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16076517542540421210noreply@blogger.com
