I've been wondering if maybe I'd have enjoyed Elaine and Bernadette more if 1) I hadn't so loved Catherine and Angela and 2) if I hadn't seen both of them in other things where they were so much better?

If I were voting, I'd vote for Mandy/Katie Rose... mainly because I can't wait to see Wicked again and am crossing everything I have that they will be in on Sept. 26th!

Thanks, as always for writing in!
JeffJKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04782634274496834578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9056238063013699574.post-59355857049031438452010-09-03T00:54:02.794-04:002010-09-03T00:54:02.794-04:00I'm not surprised by those poll results either...I'm not surprised by those poll results either. I will be picking up tickets for Women on the Verge (I'm taking my mom for her birthday) as soon as I get to NYC on Saturday. I will probably end up seeing some of those other musicals if I can get a good discount at a convenient time. Of the plays, there are a few that interest me, but I can't say I'm truly excited for/about any of them. I already saw Time Stands Still. I wouldn't mind seeing it again, as it was excellent, but it's not my top theatre priority. I also already saw Merchant of Venice this summer and have no desire to see it again.
As for your current poll, I wish we could choose more than one option. I already saw Berndadette Peters and Elaine Strich in A Little Night Music and loved it (and I was super excited to see them). And this weekend I'll be seeing (hopefully, if understudies don't go on instead) Marin and Jason in N2N (though I suppose I'm more curious than excited at this point) and Mandy in Wicked. I'm going specifically to see her in it, so I really hope she's in. Ironically, as much as I adore ITH, I am not at all interested in seeing Jordin Sparks. I haven't yet gotten over Janet's departure. I was lucky enough to be at her (and Corbin's) last show as well as Chris Jackson's last show a couple days prior, and they were amazing, wonderful nights. They will be missed. A lot.
londynNowAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
