It's a steamy July in New York City, and there's no shortage heat on the Broadway stage these days, either. Take a look at the dazzling Charlie Stemp, who is heading into his final couple of months as Barnaby Tucker in Hello, Dolly!, with the great Bernadette Peters (and soon, the great Bette Midler and Donna Murphy). Described by many as a "star on the rise," this young guy became an overnight sensation in London with his Oliver-nominated turn in Half a Sixpence. There's no doubting his abilities - they even added a dance solo to his role in Dolly! Of course, he's pretty nice to look at, too...

BROADWAY HEAT: Head Over Heels (The Sweet 16!)

Last week, we started with all of the Head Over Heels cast members; you voted. Now we are down to your 1 favorites! You have until Wednesday to vote again - this time, it's the SWEET 16. Who will make the top 8? VOTE NOW!!

GREAT NEWS! Whether or not you voted in the first round, you can still vote in this round! AND it doesn't matter if you've seen the show - you CAN STILL VOTE!




Here's how it works:

• Each cast will compete within itself like a tournament bracket.
• You'll keep voting in rounds of pairs, until we are down to one pair. (The number of rounds will vary, depending on the size of the cast.
• The winner of the last round will be the HOTTEST cast member of the show.
• At the end of the season, each show's winner will compete in one final tournament to be named the ABSOLUTELY HOTTEST BROADWAY CAST MEMBER OF 2018-2019!

Remembering Dame Gillian Lynne

Dame Gillian Lynne passed away today, July 1, 2018, at the age of 92. She choreographed seven Broadway shows, including two iconic productions, Cats and The Phantom of the Opera. I will never forget the breathtaking Jellicle Ball, the thrill of the opening number, and the quiet beauty of Victoria's solo when I first saw Cats. Nor will I forget the majesty of "Masquerade" or the grace of the ballet sequences in Phantom. Thank you for all of that and more, Dame Gillian.
