She is comedy gold in everything she does. And she's spread laughter on stages across the country on national tour, off-Broadway and on. She's played a spelling bee hostess, a fairy tale witch, and a nun (twice!). These days, she's playing a trio of roles in Mean Girls. Along the way, she's been nominated for 4 Drama Desk Awards and a Tony! We can't think of a nicer, funnier actress to be Ms. Broadway March 2019 than the one and only Jennifer Simard.

WHY SHE'S MS. BROADWAY:  By all acounts so far, she's handling an iconic role with flare, style and a stamp all of her own - all of the things I look for in a Ms. Broadway!  Theatre fans got their first glimpse of Patina Miller when she sang "Aquarius" in Hair in Central Park.  She left that production to play the lead in  Sister Act, first in London and then on Broadway.  For her efforts, Ms. Miller earned a Best Actress in a Musical Tony nomination.  Now she's back on Broadway in Diane Paulus' regionally acclaimed revival of Pippin as The Leading Player, a role made into a Tony-winning Broadway legend by theatre icon Ben Vereen.  Can Tony glory be far behind for Ms. Broadway April 2013?  We'll find out soon enough!
