The Broadway Ladies: Ms. August 2018: Rachel York

Since the late 80's, she's been a fixture on the theater scene: on Broadway, off-Broadway, national tours and regional theater. She's created roles, and she's been a high profile replacement. She does campy, dramatic, classic comedy, and she's played some of the greatest classic roles: Anna, Kate/Lily, and Dolly. And she's conquered some of the modern musical biggies, too: the Witch, Little Edie and Fantine. These days, she's tearing up the boards as Gynecia, Queen of Arcadia in The Go-Go's musical, Head Over Heels. With such a resume, it's no wonder that Rachel York is Ms. Broadway August 2018.
