Broadway Boys: Mr. December 2012: Matt Doyle

Mr. December 2012
Matt Doyle

WHY HE'S MR. BROADWAY: Well, it's been a short while since he's actually been on Broadway, and I've been waiting for this occasion to celebrate one of the nice guys on the theatre scene, the cute-as-a-button and talented enough to back it all up, Matt Doyle.  Perhaps you caught him as Hanschen in Spring Awakening, or maybe it was as Hugo in Bye Bye Birdie.  Most recently, you might have seen him on screen (or DVD) in the film Private Romeo, or with Topthorne back on stage in War Horse.  In between it all, he's released not one, but two EP's, and has even found the time to find the perfect boyfriend (and favorite of JKTS), Newsies' Ryan Steele.  And now, he's back where he belongs, looking for those golden plates and avoiding those frogs and maggots eight times a week at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre in the mega-hit The Book of Mormon!  What a great holiday gift for theatre fans and for Mr. December 2012!

OTHER INFORMATION:
