Star-Gazing: The Power Behind the Broadway Scene This Spring (A - L)

A couple of weeks ago, I blogged about all of the star power coming to Broadway this spring.  Several of you wrote to express that I was leaving out the other half of the equation by not including the writers and creative staffs of the shows.  And so I researched the writers (book, music, lyrics and playwrights), the directors, choreographers, and lighting, costume and scenic designers of all of the spring's new shows. (I had to draw the line at sound and orchestrators - these things take a lot of time! Maybe in the fall...)  but you were right - just take a look at the names and the awards these people have amassed!  They are a who's who of contemporary theatre movers and shakers!  Today, the new shows, A - L.

Act One - Costume Designer Jane Greenwood
