Each quarter, I thought it would be nice to recognize all of those performers who are living the dream - making their Broadway debut.  The first quarter, there were some 58 debutantes, covering nearly every show.  This quarter, that number went all the way up to 91 (and I am pretty sure I missed a few - sorry!)!

After Midnight

This time around, there were a few famous names from TV and film, like Tom Skerritt, Ashley Williams and Fred Dalton Thompson from A Time to Kill, Rachel Weisz from Betrayal and Zachary Quinto from The Glass Menagerie.  And there are a few newbies that are already making a big splash, like Mary Bridget Davies of A Night with Janis Joplin,  A Gentleman's Guide's Lisa O'Hare, Twelfth Night/Richard III's Paul Chahidi, and Macbeth's Anne-Marie Duff.  Of course, there are plenty of gypsies just starting out, working hard, dazzling us with their "triple-threat"ness... (note the number of fresh faces in After Midnight) and I'm sure they will be part of the next Broadway generation of stars!
