Broadway on YouTube: International Edition

DON'T FORGET TO VOTE IN THIS MONTH'S POLL!

By now, everyone knows that Mamma Mia! is an international hit. So in my weekly YouTube search, I came across several commercials for the show and selected the two that are below because I think it is interesting how each conveys similar and very different things about the same show.

Notice how the British/American version - actually the pre-Broadway Canadian company (International, right?)- sells the music, party atmosphere and a little bit of the story. But the Asian commercial (yes, it is much longer) really celebrates the story, then the music, then the fun. I wonder if maybe they didn't get it more right...
